Eat your bacon and wear it too. Bad Pickle Tee’s based out of Orange County, California puts the scrumptious back into DIY screen-printing shirts.
“Praise the Lard,” is just one of the many witty statements that Bad Pickle features on one of their best selling tees. Their motto: “for the foodie in all of us,” pretty much sums up what Bad Pickle is all about, bringing foodies together through fashion. Founder Cyndi Grasman launched her Etsy shop in earlier 2012 fusing together her passion for food and crafting.
It all started when she received a DIY screen printing kit for Christmas and made her first shirt with the words: “Duck, Duck, Confit,” with a graphic of three silhouette ducks with the third duck cooked Confit style. Grasman got such a huge response from people who loved the shirt that she started making them for her friends and family.
Before she knew it she had turned her hobby of crafting into a full time gig and Bad Pickle Tee’s was born. Though most of her Tee’s are for meat enthusiast’s, vegetarians can definitely dig the “Thyme to Turnip the Beet,” Tee featuring a beet rockin’ some head phones.
